Association for Dance Movement Psychotherapy UK (ADMP UK) - Find a Dance Movement Psychotherapist

The lists above do not necessarily include those working in organisations or charities. You may also come across creative arts therapists who have decided not to upload their information in this manner. The Southampton Art in Health Forum has plenty of arts-based practitioners that you may wish to connect with. Check out the arts and health projects part of our website, or come along to our meetings to find out more.
All practicing qualified music therapists, art therapists and dramatherapists are required to register as 'Arts Therapist' with Heath & Care Professions Council (HCPC). The registration of each therapist could therefore be checked on the HCPC website. The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) website lists those of their members who also have UKCP registration.
The British Association for Music Therapy, British Association of Art Therapists, The British Association of Dramatherapists and Association for Dance Movement Psychotherapy UK websites all have information about their practices, training courses and seminars.
British Association for Music Therapy has videos, podcasts, open access journals, and pamphlets specific to each client groups on its 'Resources' page. British Association of Art Therapists has an information on Foundation courses for those who may be considering a career in art therapy. The British Association of Dramatherapists has videos on dramatherapy and Association for Dance Movement Psychotherapy UK has lists of research studies, publications and recommended books on its 'Research' page.
Hope this is useful! Thank you to Kawori Iguchi from Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust for helping us with this blog and providing the links to health and therapist organisations.
