Paul Hamlyn Foundation Arts Access and Participation Fund
Grants are available for not-for-profit organisations to test, implement and develop ambitious plans to widen access to and deepen participation in the arts. Priority will be given to projects working in areas of social and economic deprivation outside of London.

London Transport Museum fellowship in memory of Khadija Saye
The Khadija Saye Photography Fellowship has been established by the London Transport Museum, where Saye was working on the Young Freelancers learning team at the time of her death in the Grenfell Tower fire. The deadline for applications is 5 August.

Our funders Arts Council England have published their draft strategy for the next ten years and they want to know what you think. The consultation period will run until September of this year.

Engage call for area reps
Engage is looking for area representatives working in the arts/cultural education sector and based in the North West, South East and North-West Wales. Engage Area Group Reps and Special Interest Reps form the Engage Council of members, which helps Engage to shape activity to benefit colleagues working in the sector.
Vote for the National Lottery Good Causes winners
Nominations have been drawn from the past quarter of a century to celebrate The National Lottery’s 25th Birthday. Winners receive a £10,000 prize. The shortlist includes 11 projects that have received money from The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
Socio-Economic Diversity and Inclusion in the Arts: A Toolkit for Employers
Jerwood Arts and the Bridge Group have joined forces for this toolkit to support long-term change across the cultural sector. They recommend five actions: measuring and reporting on socio-economic diversity data; creating space for conversations about ‘taste’, ‘talent’ and ‘merit’; end unpaid and unadvertised job opportunities; and create a more inclusive work culture and recruitment process. A free event in Nottingham this October will explore the recommendations.
A new occasional section of the bulletin to bring you news from international initiatives in culture, health and wellbeing. This issue sees the launch of a new Nordic Journal of Arts, Culture and Health. The journal publishes articles in Danish, English, Norwegian, and Swedish, and aims "to contribute to dissemination of research, knowledge and practice experience in the arts, culture and health field".
